Privacy notice · updated 14 Sep 2026
This notice explains how Nitya Pathways handles information received through WhatsApp, phone, email and an agreed counselling or application process. Do not send identity, financial or health documents until they are specifically required.
What is handled
Name, contact details, academic history, work experience, test status, intended course or destination, budget constraints and documents voluntarily provided for an agreed task.
To answer enquiries, assess service scope, provide counselling, support applications, prepare agreed evidence and communicate about the case.
WhatsApp, email and phone providers process communications under their own terms. Case information is shared with a university, service provider or authority only when necessary for the agreed work or when the applicant directs it.
A parent or lawful guardian must initiate or join contact for a student under 18 and approve any document sharing. A minor should not send identity, financial or health records directly.
Retention
| Record | Working maximum | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Enquiry that does not progress | Up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact | To answer follow-up questions and maintain a clear enquiry history. |
| Active counselling or application case | Up to 24 months after the final application or intake outcome | To complete agreed support, handle follow-up and retain an accountable case record. |
| Identity, financial or health supporting documents | Delete within 90 days after their final necessary use | Kept for the shortest practical period unless law or a live dispute requires longer. |
Access, correction and deletion
Ask what information Nitya Pathways holds about you, request a correction, withdraw a voluntary consent or request deletion. Some limited records may need to be retained where law, fraud prevention or a live dispute requires it.
